Be a strong mom. Raise strong kids.

We have seen mothers in our program go from significant mental health diagnoses to none. These moms now have an increase in parenting competency and have had their family stability increase significantly.

The Application Process

Inquire or Refer

Once an inquiry or referral form is submitted, you will be connected by a member of our staff to discuss next steps.

1st Family Consultation

This is a time to meet with one of our Family Advocates during your initial interview to learn more about your family’s personal goals, your expectations for MAP, and what we can do to help your family.

Intake Interview and Assessments

Next, you’ll meet our program therapist to explore your therapeutic treatment goals, complete assessments, and discuss placement in the program.

Care Plan Team Meeting

Meet with our clinical team to discuss your individualized family care plan and recommendations to uniquely address some of your family’s struggles. This step will include your decision to join the program or be connected to external resources and/or referrals.

Program Orientation and Cohort Start

Once placed in a cohort of other women, you will begin meeting together (twice a week) for Phase 1, then continue your personalized treatment plan through Phase 2 & 3. Currently, the 3-phase MAP program can be completed in 16 weeks, but is subject to change by availability.

You are capable, worthy, and strong.

Mothers that have gone through the Mothers Advocacy Project are now stably housed, stably employed, and active in their children’s lives. Now it is your turn.
