Everything must have a start, a foundation, a set up. For many of us, that began as a young child being held in the arms of a loving parent, making eye contact with a safe caregiver, and being supported by a community. The building blocks of our lives were carefully set in place and protected by the adults around us.

The domino effect. You’re familiar with it, right? Set up a domino on its side, then another, and continue on until you have a long line of standing dominos. All it takes is a single tip of one domino to set the others in motion, whether you’re ready for it or not.

This year, at MAP, we are wrapping up the 2022 year with The Domino Fund, in hopes to create a wave of positive momentum for our moms through single donations, while also recognizing that trauma has already set off a negative reaction of life experiences for the mothers in our program.
