What does a Family Advocate do?
Under the supervision of MAP’s Clinical Director, Denisa Millette, PhD, LPC, CPCS, CCTP, the Therapist will provide individual and group trauma therapy, following the TASS model, for a cohort of 8-10 single women. Responsibilities include conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and maintaining accurate records. The therapist will attend regular supervision sessions to discuss cases and receive feedback, in addition to extensive training in the innovative and unique TASS Model. This is an entry-level position that requires a Master’s degree in a relevant field and a strong desire to learn and grow in the field of therapy. All materials and training in the model will be provided upon employment start date. Contracts will be awarded for a 9 month period (the duration of the TASS model) and can be renewed for subsequent contracts upon recommendation of the Clinical Director.

Qualifications for consideration:
LAPC or MSW
Experience working with clients with trauma disorders.
Excellent communication skills, critical thinking, and interpersonal skills.

Staff Team Requirements:
Provide onsite individual and group therapy sessions for clients.
Attends quarterly staff meetings.
Attends weekly clinical staff meetings.
Attend weekly clinical supervision
Attends all necessary trauma training.
Attends all necessary developmental training for the position.
